Mahmood Kambiz was born in 21th of June 1975 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
His first song titled Shetaban was released in 1989 which he sang with his brother Dawood Habibi.

Kambiz attended journalism faculty from 1989 to 1991 in the University of Kabul.
He learned music from Ustad Hashim and tabla from Ustad Younus.

His first official album (Mosafer) release in 2013. He is currently living in Mannheim Germany with his Family.
